Imam Khomeini photo exhibition held in Quetta, Pakistan

AhlulBayt News Agency: A special photo exhibition was held at Khatam-un-Nabiyyin (PBUH) School in Quetta, Pakistan, on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the passing of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, the Late Imam Khomeini (RA). In this exhibition, the revolutionary efforts of the Late Imam Khomeini (RA), his intellectual and spiritual leadership, and the history of the Islamic Revolution of Iran were displayed in pictures.

The opening of this exhibition was held with the participation of Hujjat al-Islam Maqsood Ali Domaki, Head of the Publishing Center of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Council. In addition to the students of the school, various people from different segments of society were also present at the event.

In this ceremony, Hujjat al-Islam Maqsood Ali Domaki elaborated on the unique features of the Islamic Revolution and the personality of the Late Imam Khomeini (RA) in his speech, saying,” Imam Khomeini (RA) established a divine government based on the Holy Quran, Sunnah, and teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (PBUT) by removing the tyrant dictator. Today, Imam Khomeini's Islamic Revolution is a symbol of hope, honesty, and resistance for the oppressed of the world.”

He further noted,” the Late Imam Khomeini (RA) stood against the tyrants of the time and with slogans such as Death to America and Death to Israel, not only awakened the world, but also called on the oppressed to fight against the arrogant. Imam Khomeini (RA) raised the banner of Muslim unity worldwide.”

The Pakistani scholar continued his remarks by pointing out the simplicity and asceticism of Imam Khomeini (RA)’s life and said,” Following the victory of the Islamic revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA) lived a simple life and never sought to accumulate wealth or use power for personal gain. His family also never sought government positions. These characteristics were an example of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) practical conduct.”

He also pointed out the prominent personalities that were trained by Imam Khomeini (RA) and noted,” Imam Khomeini (RA) trained people some of whom are leading on the global level today, including the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Martyr Morteza Motahari and Martyr Mohammad Hossein Beheshti.”
